In The News
The Tuesday Literary Club's illustrious members regularly receive publicity in the press as a result of the success they achieve in their careers. Also of interest is that the Club itself has been featured in Toronto's daily newspapers.

In 1955 the Chief Librarian of the City of Toronto, Dr. Sanderson, spoke to the Club. A short time later, on December 6, 1955, the Telegram newspaper had in its Literary Section an article, featuring Dr. Sanderson, in which he made a brief reference to the Club.

On October 8, 1971, the Club achieved a real spread in Zena Cherry's column in the Globe and Mail. It is not known how Mrs. Cherry "got wind of" the Club; however, the member on whom it devolved to be her "pipeline" into the Club, reported that in an attempt at accuracy she phoned him four times to obtain and check details.

On May 18, 1984 Zena Cherry once again wrote about the Club in her column in the Globe and Mail. Although she really tried to get all of the facts and details correct, unfortunately she did not entirely succeed. We salute her for her efforts and thank her for the publicity.
